AOTEAROA
New Zealand is an island nation situated in the South Pacific, southern hemisphere. It spans 1600 km from north to south and is approximately 2250km east of Australia. It is not a part of Australia!
It is made up of the North Island, the South Island, Stewart Island and various small surrounding islands. The National plant of New Zealand is the Pohutukawa and the National bird is the Kiwi.
